Wineries and breweries are some of the biggest industries within the foodies world. It is key to have designs that represent them perfectly. From grungy designs for that hand crafted IPA to elegant designs for the barrel aged wine the designs are important to get a message across to the consumers especially about the company. Mommy’s Juice is a winery located in Reading, PA who enjoys creating wine from the finest grapes in the vineyard while having a bit of fun. From Mother Meredith herself, she wanted to create great tasting wine while poking fun at the term most mother’s use to describe their wine, “Mommy’s Juice". When creating the labels for the wine bottle, I wanted to bring a sense of elegance and fun to the label. The purple and gold bringing out the idea of a red wine while keeping the name fun with a heart. Using a texture as a sense of elegant movement or marbling and a side silhouette of a woman to give more of a high-class portrait look to the front label. The back label has specific background around the winery and the taste of the wine itself while including the logo and name of the flavor from the front.
